Wow, Mossberg actually kept it real and brought up how the data plan actually makes the phone more expensive. Nothing new here, this just follows the usual plan of the carrier subsidizing the "free" phone and getting you on the contract plan. It's no wonder we American's don't believe in spending top dollar on mobile phones which in turn keeps our mobile infrastructure immature.
