This is a policy of the Hong Kong operator, Hutchison (aka 3 Hong Kong), who is exclusively selling the handset in the local market.<br><br>Therefore, to say this has anything to do with the local "laws" of Hong Kong is simply misleading, which are far from being "weird and wacky".  I take great offence at such a statement, whatever tone or manner it may have been presented in - and I believe I speak for many people when I say this.<br><br><br>Note to author: It might be wise, and most definitely appropriate, for you to do some research before coming to unsubstantiated conclusions about facts and issues.
