I got mine last night! So happy I live in Chicago!! :-)

So far I am loving it. Never used Symbian so it's all new to me. But it is definitely gorgeous and fast and makes my Treo look like a boat anchor. Also, the reviews said the keyboard was really tiny. I can tell U that it is - but I still type great on it. I was actually really surprised. The keys have an excellent feel to them.

I'm loving my E71!!!

Jeth

Comments on Nokia's North American E71 now available at Chicago flagship store

carrier?

oliver hart

Comments on Nokia's North American E71 now available at Chicago flagship store

I live in Miami, but travel to NY often and I'm going to be there next week. So I called the NY flagship store and this is what they just told me.

They had a list that's already closed of people who will be attending a product launch event on Thursday. They anticipate that all units will be sold right there and then, but in the even they are not, they will give me a call on Friday so that I can go pick up my unit. Problem is I won't be in New York until Sunday night. The good news, however, is that they are receiving another shipment sometime next week! :-)

Razor1973

Comments on Nokia's North American E71 now available at Chicago flagship store

I love my E62, but I hate the xpress mail product that Cingular (AT&T) has loaded on it. It doesn't work 100% of the time, though it does work more consistently than it did a year ago. Still, I'm not about to pay full pricefor a phone when my contract is up for renewal. I have been following the E71 since rumors of an E61i replacement started popping up here and there and I am completely into the idea of getting the E71 as soon as I can. I am on a list in the NY flagship store to be called as soon as they become available (next week most likely).

Now, am I really the only one that things the native mail client is crap, especially when using IMAP IDLE? Please read this thread for more details. It would be great to hear the opinion of current owners.

http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=1395212

Thanks.

Razor1973
