Winpwn 2.0 is out yesterday but it doesn't unlock 3G iphones. There is a competitor here in town who says he can unlock 3G iphones so I sent a spy with a fresh 3G iphone to have it unlocked. The Sim card works in both phones whether it was bought from Rogers or Fido. This is just plane snake oil! I have done this with my sisters sim card out of her Rogers Blackberry and my Fido iPhone! Thus one might be able to simply conclude that they are interchangeable.
