Also even though your on Rodgers, (which IMO is ironic that their owned in majority by AT&T here in the US), you should still be able to get the update since the updates are pushed through Apples servers and not through Rodgers. Plus, those European countries that received the iPhone Gen 1, they were able to update and were running on T-Mobile, Vodafone or O2. When you sync up your iPhone in iTunes, if there is an available update, it will alert you and give you the option to either select, "Yes I want to update," or "No, I don't want to update."

opera mini does a pretty f-ing good job, and is available for WM5, WM6, and WM6.1 devices. I know this cause I had it on my i760 when it was WM6, and I have it now that my i760 is WM6.1 I fail to see what the iphone can do that my i760 cant be made to do with 3rd party apps. besides the 16gb of onboard storage.
