Fido offers up Motorola's MOTOROKR U9
Merely hours after Motorola began selling its simplistic U9 through its own webstore, along comes Fido to give interested Canadians another option for procuring it. Starting right now, those enamored by that ghostly external display can grab one for just $75 on a 3-year contract, $175 with a 2-year agreement or a grossly overpriced $350 with no strings attached. Any takers... anyone?

Alright, I'm kind've getting the sick of the "we're posting this even though we are too cool for it" attitude. Its really annoying. This is a good device for what it is, and certainly far more unique than most of its similarly priced competition. Or didn't you guys get the memo: endless motorola-hating/insulting was so 2007.
Exactly, everyone here says Motorola needs to turn around and start making better products... yet no one is willing to give them the chance.
The U9 is a great product, sure its a little on the feminine side, but that doesn't mean its a bad device.
What about the ROKR E8, thats a genious device.... but oh no it carries the Moto name so it must be crap?
Give me a break and give moto a break... they can and will produce great products if everyone just gives their products a chance.
For the record I'm not a big Moto fan boy, I'll stick to my Blackberry, I'm just saying lay off Moto a big and give there products a chance.
GAAAHHHH!
Someone decided that ridiculling Moto products makes one cool and those who need to feel cool and don't have a mind of their own sheepishly followed.
I have the moto u9, bought off ebay unlocked, and honestly im pretty happy with it coming off a samsung slider. People complain about the lag between menus but i would say that those people have 0 patience and that the menu lag complaint is overkill for the situation.
Not a bad purchase in my book. 7.5/10.
