Official details on visual voicemail seep through Verizon's pores
Seems like things are coming along nicely for the launch of Verizon's downloadable visual voicemail service, with some preliminary information briefly hitting VZW's interwebs before seemingly being pulled. As we'd previously heard, a retooled LG Voyager -- creatively named Voyager Refresh -- will be one of the first devices to get access to the service, while current Voyager owners will be able to download the app required to get hooked up. Update: We're hearing that the $2.99 / month fee is still in effect. For shame, Verizon!

Launching 8/8. Take that, Olympics!
From the customer service reps I have talked to it should work without an update or application on the new LG Dare as well.
Hopefully they are right.
yeah.. good luck on getting something like this on T-mobile.. hell we just got VMI last year
What about the Glyde?
Well, they have to get these things tested and certified for each handset, which is quite a slow process; don't expect to see much of this anytime soon, just a few here and there.
heres hoping this will come to the Verizon Q9c. im not getting my hopes up though (hell im still waiting on that 6.1 update...)
