I want 3G, but it has absolutely nothing to do with speed. Lots of others feel the same way. I want 3G because it allows simultaneous data and voice. This means I could be talking on my bluetooth headset AND get the all critical email I need. I can't count the number of times I was on several long work related calls, and miss an important message just because stupid EDGE doesnt allow data and voice at the same time. OR .... what if I'm talking on the phone and someone asks where the closes sushi place is? On my curve I have to hang up with them because nope ... no voice and data at the same time. It is short sited on your part to say people have stupid mentality for liking 3G because you can't see past the "Speed" part.
“It's rare if a month flies by without some random university or DIYer proclaiming that the next major jump in battery technology is just over the horizon.”
