Nokia promises to spill details on two new handsets next week

Nokia isn't dropping many hints with this one, but it's apparently just let out word that it plans to show off two new handsets next Monday, with an actual launch set to follow a week later. Not one to let an opportunity for speculation go unheeded, The Boy Genius Report says it has a hunch that these may, in fact, be the N79 and N85, which were recently spotted alongside Nokia's XpressMedia 5800 "Tube" handset but very light on details. That certainly seems as safe a bet as any, and we certainly don't have very long to wait to find out for sure.

too bad they'll be like every other good nokia phone ever made and never get released by a carrier in the US. wake me up when you can get a decent phone at a decent price in the US...the only good one released in the last year and a half was the N75 and has been $200 for the majority of the time, easily twice the price that it should be.
two new prices of crap. Yay...
Uhg...Touchscreen S60 PLZ K THNX
Well it's already known what devices those 2 will be N79 and N85(most probally).
That sneak peek was ment for only bloggers and Nokia insiders week ahead of others.... of course one blogger leaked it(symbianworld) thought he did remove it 3hrs later, but this being internet it was way too late ;)
N85 seems really good device compared to competition and as it's rumoured to be cheap it might be a best seller, but like you said a bit meh for us N95 8GB owners.
I'm hoping that when the 5800 announcment comes(tube) they announce the TS flag ship at the same time.
Two new N-Series devices that are exactly like every other N-Series device, just slightly different (a la N95 > N96). Yay.
If the tube is any indication at the kind of innovation going on in Espoo right now, this one's gonna be a real sleeper.
And what's with the lame attempt at being coy with a "sneak peek" anyway? It's official, they're launching it. Maybe not advertising yet, or releasing it to the sales channel - but that's the standard MO at Nokia anyway. Meh.
barcelona chair! haha
That looks like a really comfortable phone
I'm just hoping that Nokia will be stepping up their game with these new devices. They have produced solid phones for an eternity, but lets see somethign innovative. http://htcsource.com
i wonder if this whole sofa thing is a hint at the tube.
tv=tube
couch potato=sofa
OMG! you're right! i never thought of that, but i dont think the nokia PR team comes up with these realtions..
So.......... where's the news!?
