i wonder what the price will be for the pro with a contract
I have heard to expect around $330 with a new 2 year, so $30 bucks more than the Diamond
about 250, not worth it really
no one cares, both sprint and htc suck
yea ATT and apple both suck.
and how do you get 250 as the price.
its 330 after the 150 and 100 MIR. and for a phone thats does alot more then what the iphone can do it sure is worth it. and also ATT is also getting the touch pro later on down the year. so yea i guess ATT sucks also since they are also getting this phone.

Full browser and app store? There are many app stores on the internet to buy applications for WM... about 18,000 applications at least. Full Browser? The Diamond and Touch pro come with Opera Mobile 9.5 which supports javascript and is more feature rich and as smooth to use as Safari. WM also allows OTHER 3rd party browsers like.. Skyfire, which is the FULL internet browsing experience including flash playback. The resolution on the screens are higher, the cameras are bigger with autofocusing lenses, they are on Sprint's 3G network which blows away at&t's. Oh yeah, and the phones can be INSURED... the slight of hand that Apple hasnt learned yet.
years ahead of its time, as in more money out the ass than any other phone then yes. $2200 over the life of a contract. fail.
so years ahead we wount be able to take video on our phones? or have the option to add on more memory for storage, or have to replace the whole phone just because of a battery problem. i don't recall but do it support push email? looks and apple name is whats selling this iphone.
htc has a good name for it self others are hiring them to design and make phones for them. i dont know how they suck.

no there is nothing revolutionary about it. other then the multi touch. once android comes out i do think thats going to take over. open source :D

If you mean all the free software and pay software available for a widows mobile device then yes HTC and WM have been at it for a few years longer then app store .
and for full web browsing well yes Iphone does a better job at it, but it does not have a full web browser, as there is no flash or Java support. so yes it has a better web browser but not full web browsing.
but I'm sure you will defend your iphone till the end as the be all end all device. How can Apple do wrong right.
Win mo phones do have wayyyyyy more stuff than the iphone. Stuff you guys cant even have dreams about yet... lets rehash
um removable battery, um cam flash, vid cam, pic mail, photo options, stero bluetooth, full qwerty keyboard, wifi/bluetooth/cable tethering, ota music downloads, streaming radio and video lol no pandora and youtube doesnt count, skyfire (much better than safari which is more comparable to Opera 9.5), no cracks in the housing, Better 3G ( I mean in EVERY possible sense of the word), much better homescreen customization, cut and paste, micro sd slot...
Honestly I know Im forgeting some, and the Iphone has a list of pluses just as long. I purposely left out one plus which is the reason I would take a mogul or a touch pro over an iphone 3g.. SERO... I pay 30 bucks a months for 500 mins unl text data and pic mail and nights start at 7.. There is no phone good enough to make me pass on that.. Oh yea sprints insurance is ridiculous compared to At&t so yea I love the iphone but until its rockin evdo rev. a you'll never see me with one
So...........when will the GSM version come to ATT?
there is not much on ATT's release except its going to be called the "FUZE" but my guess is sometime before the end of the year or the holiday season.
So holiday weekend, family that works at Sprint in KC is in town, and I had a chance to bug them about these two. If you don't believe me, well I don't care.
September 2nd is still the launch day for the touch.
Oct 17th is the launch day for the touch pro.
Some Sprint people are really concerned about the build quality on the Touch Pro. My family member was shown that one hard knock completely killed a unit.
My family member saw BOTH black and red backed units.
I hope the touch pro comes to Canada, it looks like such a hot texting phone, much rather it than the LG Rumour.

You just go ahead and keep drinking the Kool-aid. The only thing ahead of it's time about the iPhone is how quickly they become obsolete, how often they release an "upgraded" version each year, and how they suck Apple-Groupies into buying each new "upgrade" every 6 months. How many "old" iPhones do you have in a drawer somewhere? 2? 3? 4?
Steve Jobs is an absolute genious at marketing and building cult-like brand loyalty. That's it. If any other manufacturer had put out the iPhone, marketed, replaced, remarketed, replaced like jobs did, they'd be out of business by now.
Nice big screen. Other than that, it's a loser in so many ways it's not even worth listing them. Others have done so in thousands of posts since the "original" iPhone came out.
You don't need a new iPhone: you need to be deprogrammed.
As an iPhone user and an Apple fanboy, the device blows (the first step is admitting you have a problem)...all this talk about how advanced it is and superior. It can't MMS, the camera sucks, apps crash and there isn't one good useful fucking app in the App Store, it's all crap. But its great for surfing the web, so if my fucking laptop. It takes 30 seconds just for your contacts to come up....where is all the "advanced features" ?!?!? oh thats right, they're with a software update that isn't out yet. Not to mention 3G is non-existent.

Apple fan boys kill me... Explain to me how the F the iphone is years ahead of it's time? WM 6.1 has a full browser and you can install like 8 other ones if you dont like IE. Phones are in the pipe NOW that have multi-touch. Sprint Edvo > 3g (sorry). There's well over 10k app's available for winmo. Oh wait, whats this? I can run as many apps as the memory can handle in the background? Wait, i can insure my phone? Oh my, i have a qwerty keyboard? Sprint has phones that DO support pandora, the HTC devices CAN support youtube if you know what your doing. I can change every single facet of my interface... reporgram buttons... and my data connection actually works. I can replace my battery, upgrade storage, take pictures that dont look like they were taken underwater. $99 = unlimited EVERYTHING, gps, TV, radio, text, data, voice. Everything. Wait lets not forget about phone as modem and the fact that i can use ANY SONG I WANT AS MY RINGTONE without buying it twice. Iphone is a failure, it only sells because apples name is on it and fanboys like you praise it to death. HTC > Iphone they continue to innovate, they wont rest on thier laurels because one device is doing well. Get with the program apple kids.

Does anyone know if the touch Pro has Adobe reader LE like the Mogel does?
I also forgot to ask if the some of the reviewers were incorrect about the phones ability to switch to landscape mode without opening the keyboard? The specs I have read say that it can be put into landscape mode without opening the keyboard but all of the videos prove otherwise. Maybe this is a recent upgrade for the version that is coming to Sprint?
