Down for everyone or just you? AT&T experiencing a major data outage on the East Coast.

Ruh-roh. AT&T's wireless data service seems to be down in a major way, at least on the eastern half of the country. We're seeing problems with both Edge and 3G from places such as Boston, New York and St. Louis. It's primarily iPhone users pinging us on this, and in AT&T's forums, but we're guessing it's not just limited to them. How is it looking for you?[Thanks to everyone who sent this in]
Update: We've just spoken to AT&T and they've told us they're "aware of the reports." We'll keep our ear to the ground and update as soon as we have more.
Update 2: AT&T now tells us that it all came down to a "routing issue" in the Northeast that was patched up at 11:56AM this morning. For what it's worth, BlackBerry and text services were apparently unaffected -- but we doubt that's much consolation to iPhone users in withdrawl.

Called AT&T and the outage confirmed in St. Louis. I'm using the Q9h. I have several people here at work with the same issue. Intermittent browsing and no POP or Activesync connectivity.
Fine here in Central Jersey. Using iPhone 3G.
Not just for iPhones. All data is down in Boston.
I'm in Philly using an N95-4. no problems here
EDGE is not working in Northern Illinois (I'm in Wheeling, IL)
Data is offline in NYC (media net is up, but worthless, let's be honest).
Here in the DC metro area, been unable to connect to my email all day on my AT&T 8525. Strangely, SOME web sites work in IE mobile (but not others) and my coworker with an iPhone reports no problems at all.
Hope it's fixed soon.
In DC proper (not the expanded Metro), all is fine. Maybe just the burbs?
On iPhone 3g on AT&T there is no response in Syracuse, NY
We had a 4-day outage in Durham, NC. After calling a few folks at customer care (since my company runs the AT&T MEdia Mall), we learned it was a misconfiguration in some of the broadcast radios on the tower. Not sure if the same is affecting the whole East, but if so, should be an easy fix as they had us back up in 45 minutes.
3G isn't working in the Albany/ Capital region of NY.
Looks like service is restored in STL.
My iPhone 1st gen is fine for edge in the Capital Region (Cohoes), NY
I am in the Philadelphia area and my data just came back up on 3G about 5 minutes ago. It has been out all morning til now.
My data just began to work. My phone got a few emails! NJ 0767 @ 12:25pm
Staten island edge is down. my phone isnt evening connecting to a 3G tower.. My data coverage has been disappointing. This reminds me of about 5 - 8 years ago when ATT slowly over sold there network till there service was crap everywhere.
Though I honestly think there data coverage has probably always been bad (In NYC).
just got my first emails since LATE last night on ATT in NYC.
Im in Indy using an iPhone 3G. 3G and EDGE working just fine here.

So that's why I couldn't get any mail while driving NY -> DC :(
the phone is ok but data and email are a bust here in NYC on the treo 750. had a similar problem last week for 2 days and at that time no phone as well. alttho ATT denied problem with their network... I personally think it is because of all the bandwidth being consumed by the 3g iphone

No problems with my Sprint Mogul in Seattle.
3g back up in WV (down all day). Seems pretty swift for now.

Called AT&T. Was informed that data access for iPhones could be down for the next 24-48 hours. Got a $5 credit woo-hoo!!
