Once again, the mysterious Bluetooth SIG has left us with more questions than answers. Yes, okay, so there's an HTC "QUAR100" that we have to worry about now, but what is it? Given the
gem theme they've set up for themselves, odds are the "QUAR" stands for "Quartz" -- though our comprehensive set of Scrabble tools reminds us that it could also be "Quart," "Quarterback," or "Quarterfinalist," among many others -- and we can at least glean that it's a phone (as opposed to, say, a standalone PDA) with WiFi. The most intriguing thing we've got going here might be the mention of North America as the one and only region for planned availability, an unusual move more frequently reserved for HTC's CDMA devices than anything else. Any educated (or not-so-educated guesses) out there?

T-Mobile-spec Touch Diamond or Touch Pro? :D :D :D
Well if they "dumbed" down the diamond like one article said Verizon hoped to do, wouldn't that be a fitting name?
Looks like a diamond... but it ain't the same?
That's what came to mind... I hope I am wrong, for everyone's sake.
My guess is or should I say hopes are that it is a CDMA Sprint/Android phone that will make the Dream look like a piece of crap!...oh yea it already does. ahahaha
this could be verizon's diamond with less features
maybe a quarter of them
quar100= quarter of a diamond!!
:)
I believe the Verizon model already has a name (Herman or Victor)
My vote goes to QUAR100 becoming the Quark. It's a smart phone for smart people ;)
its sprints andriod device
You sure it isn't QUACK?
Definately Quartz
This is the Athena replacement.
32gb SSD (Samsung has a new 1.0 inch form factor 32GB SSD on their site)
Smaller, more pocketable, but with same size screen
Better video performance
...I wish.
