I think HTC may have a huge factor in that pricing. Unfortunately for Best Buy the price stance for "new cutting edge" WinMo devices(released by HTC) always seems to hover around that 700$ price mark. I agree it's too high but it is what it is unfortunately. If it were to have been listed at lets say $499 there would be an uproar from the community kind of like how Apple dropped the price of the iPhone so soon. I don't think BB will sell that many. I may even pass at 700$. You can pick up a non US 3G one for 599$ at phonesource-usa.com right now. And I don't think BB will ever lower the price either. Dilema.
