I was planning on the Touch Pro (if voda uk pick to a launch date) but this makes me look twice. I desperately want to go back to a tablet Palmtop style pda (like 1997 for those who think that form factor starts with iphone.), all the decently powerful ones have keyboards :-( however, will they beef up the video chip to run 800x480? I think those extra few pixels really drag my toshiba G900 down (yes aswell as the non existant video driver) and despite the huge advantage it is, is it worth the perf drop, along with the fact there is less support for WVGA than there is for VGA. and what really is the point of having a big screen like that when you cover it in touchflo? I fit everything on my current today screen, where as this has half of that resolution taken up by a clock that doesn't even show seconds and hides all your important data (tasks anyone) in sub pages? you don't buy a HD TV and then try and watch VHS though it do you? so can we have a front end that uses that expanse (hmmm, like the built in today screen we've had since 1999)?

Martin Crosbie

Comments on HTC Touch HD takes 480 x 800 pixels fullscreen

The screen is a 4" !!!!!
Camera 4,9 MP.
The only problem i see : it's the same processor than the Diamond, which means it should be slow as hell :(

pit

Comments on HTC Touch HD takes 480 x 800 pixels fullscreen

Nice phone but Window Mobile suck. and the screen need to be glass not cheap plastic.

Wii

Comments on HTC Touch HD takes 480 x 800 pixels fullscreen

...and so are you.

Ruben

Comments on HTC Touch HD takes 480 x 800 pixels fullscreen

Nice phone but Window Mobile suck. and the screen need to be glass not cheap plastic.

Wii

Comments on HTC Touch HD takes 480 x 800 pixels fullscreen

Your a moron.

Ruben

Comments on HTC Touch HD takes 480 x 800 pixels fullscreen

doesn't opera 9.5 come with the diamond and pro? why is this using opera mini? something's not right...

slamEVIL

Comments on HTC Touch HD takes 480 x 800 pixels fullscreen

Interesting...'In stores for Santa'

Should be the first of many pre-announcement leaks.

This is 'almost' enough to make me delay purchasing the HTC Touch Pro...almost.
