It's a panel that are actually pictures. You select the one you want and the picture gets zoom'd in and looks blury for about 3-4 seconds and the real panel takes over.
All the ones it comes with do the same, they're not seamless IMHO.
But the concept is "okay." They have the PSP/PS3 type of menu as one of the panels and that seems pretty cool... they also have one with three fishes that change color depending on the type of message you recieve.
