So, you took the plunge and forked over a Benjamin (or just kvetched loudly enough to a CSR) and ended up with a Sprint AIRAVE, huh? Now that you've had a few weeks to test it out in your abode, we're interested to know if it has met and / or exceeded expectations. Head on over to this week's episode of How Would You Change to speak your mind.
Got it for free thru retentions with waived monthly fee coz signal in my home has always sucked but SERO keeps me going!! Ordered it at 4 pm got it at 10 am next day, hooked up in 5 mins. always 5 bars on my 2 touches....crystal clear voice, releif from dropped calls all at 30$/mo. :)
I was pretty excited for when this was coming out a few months ago. It seems to be doind pretty well though I dont really agree with the monthly chargees on it like most people.
Mine doesn't work. The system light flashes red. Contacted technical support and they now say it won't function in my area yet. Apparently "nationwide rollout" doesn't mean everywhere there is Sprint coverage.
Wow, singh i have to admit that its pretty impressive that they would waive the fee while you are on a SERO plan. Considering that they probably loose money giving you service each month in the first place. Not that i don't believe it. just that i'm supprised at it thats all.
Sprint dumped it WORST customes over the last year so, many of the remaining customers make a solid foundation from which to grow. If they just bend over backwards for them for a few years they will help bring in additional users by letting them know what great service Sprint has...well, will have.
ATT better roll something out like this in the next 6 months or our company of about 50 will definitely make the switch...back to Sprint.
My Airave came up in 20 minutes and lit up the entire house (5250 sq. feet) like a Chrismas tree!!! I live in a Sprint "dead zone" and now I have 5 bars on the 1st floor and no worse than 3 bars on the 2nd floor and basement. The Airave really does the trick! Paying a monthly fee of $4.99 just to have the improvement of service is well worth it and I'm paying another $10 for unlimited service for my wife who is home most of the day and now uses her Sprint phone for the vast majority of her calls. Now that we have the Airave, we may elliminate a 2 lines that are costing us almost $100 a month! So paying $15 a month for the Airvae is a no brainer!!! I lvoe this thing!
“It's rare if a month flies by without some random university or DIYer proclaiming that the next major jump in battery technology is just over the horizon.”
