Mildly frightening Verizon promo video gets employees hype for BlackBerry Storm
Hey, bet you'd like to know that Verizon Wireless' Mike (you know, from Minute with Mike) thinks the BlackBerry Storm is going to "crush the competition." He also expects his sales team to "take the world by storm." He also states that this handset's screen is "built to be the most responsive of its time." Oh, but he totally neglects to mention a price and / or release date. Thanks Mike. Thanks a lot. Full mind-numbing episode is after the jump.

Im the 1st!! wooohooo
what now motha-fucka (in a really high pitch voice)
Congrats. I don't have a cookie to give you, so I hope you accept this bag of shut the hell up in its place.
Yeah, that video is clearly trying to motivate Verizon employees, but if you do some searching, you can find a few videos showing a clear demonstration of the UI on this new phone, and the lack of a good touch-screen experience. I think that like most of these launches, the hype will build until people actually get their hands on it.
All of the "videos" you refer to show PRE-PRODUCTION models with old, old firmware versions. This has been proven and discounted many times over in the forums of Crackberry.com and HowardForums.com. But, if you do some searching, you can see this for yourself.
a few videos? Oh, are you referring to the ONE other video from some moron in a turtle neck pulled over his face who is using a model that is now known to be an unfinished product? The model that has the same UI that is from about 4 months ago? The one that CLEARLY does not have the same UI that the video above has? That video?
b4 u talk... let it come out then talk
The 1:53 minute video ends with, "A minute with Mike."
....there goes truth in advertising. Solely due to that, I doubt all claims made prior to in the video.

Now, when will Engadget or CrackBerry get its hands on this? I'm really, really interesting in that screen, not just their cool rendition of haptics but also the responsiveness of the screen. I'm uber interested. Also, I don't wanna be "that guy" be we all know what device to which he was referring when talking about "the competitor"; accordingly, I wonder if it will be released at a similar or lesser price point. Should be very interesting.
Video has been removed... ugh. Anymore links?
"Take the world by storm", it's work in more than one country to do that.
