Maybe, but I'm not sure if these devices compete. With no exchange compatibility this actually seems to compete with the original iphone. Thus far they seem to be going after the non business user. The Storm looks perfect for me, while the G1 looks perfect for my wife.
I had the G1 and I returned it. It's clunky and the battery life is horrid. There were some cool factors about it but not enough to convince me to keep it for 2 years .
