Don't be greedy, you have the G1 flawed though it may be, what do we poor CDMA users have? This is our precious and we must haves it.
Well if you're on Sprint then you can expect the Touch Diamond and Touch Pro. If you're on Verizon you've got "The Network" and who needs a fantastic non-crippled phone when you've got that. ;)
I feel your pain (kinda) , Riles. Although we have the Touch Diamond and soon the Touch Pro. As much as I like CDMA if AT&T gets this up I might pick it up. Hell, if Best Buy will have it unlocked I might get it, of course depending on the deal. 6 Bills is the price cap although I have a feeling it will be more than that when/if it comes w/ North American 3G on it.
My wet dream would be this however Engadget: CDMA Touch HD spotted in the wild....

I want AT&T to get this. Then, I want someone to come out with a slide-out keyboard with wired or bluetooth connectivity that can clip onto the back of this thing.
I want this phone with the 'next' version of the Android OS, or possibly Windows Mobile 7.
I'm switching to whichever carrier gets this first. my t-mobile contract is up.
I found that it was going for 519 pounds so that's about 950 some odd dollars. I can't remember where I saw it, but seems about right. Check out http://dechowireless.com for pricing on phones. Seems about right for unlocked, GSM/3G phones.

Thats True. T-Mobile already got the G1. AT&T already has I-Phone, Tilt, Xperia, and watever the Hell Else. So yes, this Belongs on Sprints 3G asap. We were due for a Mogul Replacment ANYWAY. So the Pro Doesnt Count.
But i dunno who in the Hell wants to "Clip On" a keyboard. Youll look like an ass if u ask me.
THEN Again, if rumors hold up to be true (Like they were for sprint gettin the Diamond & Pro first turned out to be) Then ill wait for Google to send its "G2" or wateva they call it to sprint cuz Sidekick look alike phones wont cut it at sprint. Cuz HD is just a bigass screen, not much else. Im not gonna buy it cuz im obsessed with an iphone look alike but dont want AT&T whip and Chain.

if you google HTC TOUCH HD, you will See that you can already buy it for $640 shipped to your door unlocked. Not so sure if it would be 3g, but it still has all other stated specs.

I want to order it, but after just buying the 2nd gen iPhone, & pre ordering the G-1. I'm gonna wait & see which carrier gets it & try the 2 year reduced price.
