Motorola Q11 shows up in Brazil's regulatory red tape
That Q11 can't be far off now that Moto's starting to send it through labs for regulatory approval, and ClubeCelular seems to have gotten the inside line on the latest Q as it happened through Brazil's hurdles. Unfortunately, a quick glance at the rumored specs (and a few glances at the unglamorous shots Moto sent with the phone's labwork) leave us scratching our heads as to why anyone would want this over a Q9: quadband EDGE, stereo Bluetooth, WiFi, miniSD expansion, a 2.5mm (yes, 2.5mm) headphone jack, and a 3-megapixel camera with flash. Besides the cam, we're not seeing what the draw is -- and we're particularly bewildered as to why Moto would think it was cool to leave 3G out these days, so we're hoping that particular spec magically materializes by the time the phone floats north (and no, Motorola, just because RIM thinks it can get away with leaving out 3G doesn't mean you should, too).

off-center screen FTW!
I guess wifi is the only thing it brings... starting to look like the old 2001 BBs, all bubbly and rounded. I guess by 2020 we should see some 2008 models coming out.
I liked it the first time It came out , and was called "the T-Mobil Dash"
eww. ill stick to my Q9c. this thing is hideous and the only thing it brings new that is relevant is WiFi and that's not worth an upgrade.
Wow that thing is ugly.. I have the Q9m, and I didn't think that could get much worse.
am i the only one to notice the crooked screen? not that many people can get past the ugly non-3G-ness of it.
ur not the only one. i believe the entire Q line has this off centered screen. i have a Q9c personally and while it isnt nearly as bad this one, it is still noticeable.
Going backwards designwise eh Motorola?
According to a guy I know living in Brazil, 3G isn't very widely deployed in Brazil yet. So this may be a way to get a smartphone into the hands of the people down there without the expense of adding 3G to it.
but look! it has a backspace key!
huh, didnt even notice that. ive gotten so used to where it is now though (by the End button) that it doesnt even bother me anymore.
