Making a 3G GSM device is quite a different animal than a CDMA one, so bugs are an issue.

The same goes on with Telstra down-under which also happens to provide 3G services over 850MHz band... and that's where their issue is. Few weeks ago we got few Bolds from Telstra for testing and the issues with the data connection on that devices are endless. Specificaly with switching between 2G and 3G - once switch occures data connection is dropped and is not restored automatically.
Switching device to 2G or 3G only makes it more stable.
