Can't you get one of those cell phone 3G data plans and connect your laptop to your cell phone (using bluetooth or something), and use 3G internet that way?
@michael seriously...he asks a question and the first thing you think about is the stupid iphone and its application? its called TETHERING. and literally hundreds of phones on the market still do it. does EVERYTHING in this world have to revolve around the iphone w/ some people? jesus h christ

Why do you automatically jump to the effin iPhone!? There are plenty of other 3G devices out there, the iPhone's not the only one.
