There was an awful lot of hullabaloo after an SGH-i907 passed the FCC a few weeks back that we might be dealing with an AT&T-branded
Omnia in our midst, going off the logic that Samsungs destined for AT&T typically end with the number 7 and the original Omnia is dubbed the i900.
More recent intel suggests that this is actually an Americanized
i780, though, leaving everyone wondering whether the western hemisphere would ever see a version of Sammy's WinMo superphone equipped with the right 3G bands. The answer appears to be a tentative "yes," now that we have an i900L in the FCC's business featuring WiFi and WCDMA 850 / 1900. It's not a sure thing, clearly -- but if Samsung were to release a model to the North American market called "i900L" with no bearing to the i900 whatsoever, we'd seriously lose our cool.

The VZW Omnia is pretty sexy. The WM UI works "ok" with the accelerometers. Still some bugs to work out but as I said before, it's just a sexy phone!!!
How do you know what the vzw omnia looks like??
i really hope it comes out of att around the holidays because i really like that phone and i want it alot.....i had an iphone but the bill was too high

you'll notice that everything on the label is in Spanish first and English second. Also that the first page has LTN on it which seems to support that. Good thing from the site is that it does have NAM 3G frequencies, so it should work in the US. My only concern is that it will be a Spanish only ROM and an English one would have to be cooked to work. However, it's possible that it may have English on it already and would just have to be switched. Should be interesting to see. Even if it doesn't come to a US carrier, it looks promising that we could get one that would work here.

Fired it off the FCC document to a friend of mine that's fluent in Korean. Hopefully, he can tell me if there's in anything interesting in all that Korean.
I read the document. The section on the FCC label, where it says Title - SGI-i900L has some Korean which translates to
Central-South America
:-(
I think this is destined for Latin America.
So the i907 is the Epix, this must be the Mirage. The name fits the look of the device, but it doesn't have the xxx7 designation most AT&T phones from Samsung get. The A867 looks to be a dumbphone Omnia with MediaFLO, could we be seeing a i907L or i917?
