Well, I didn't think it was a bad idea, just poorly implemented (and for me with the wrong people). Zune just cut a deal with Wayport/McDonald's with the latest iteration, and since ALL Zune's have built in Wi-Fi... well personally I wouldn't mind if the Starbuck's/iTunes deal became a Starbucks/Zune deal instead.
But of course, I am fairly sure I am alone on this one.
You're not! I love the iPhone, and I like Zune as well. The things is, the iPhone is more advanced than the Zune in almost all aspects, so unless Microsoft made a Zune Phone (Zphone, or something, which would be fucking awesome), I don't see it happening. Realize that at times Microsoft can be ignorant. A Zphone would naturally be iPhone's #1 competitor, besides maybe Blackberry's Storm.
