I got the super beta working on my mogul an its damn good.. the browser is safari quality easy... can recieve an send calls and text.. its very limited tho more of a showoff than a useful OS right now google maps, calculator, alarm clock and a few more things work so its very basic.. whats promising is the Mogul runs it with ease... If it's a full install do you have a link to how you got that up and running? XDA Devs or something? You boot up windows as normal and then you boot android on top of it. The only way to end android is a soft reset. If you have free time or are serious about switching I would check it out. This version is not made for the mogul so the keyboard does not type. it doesnt switch to landscape, and the touch screen is not good, there is an on screen keyboard.. But knowing that it wasnt made for my phone it would only take 20-30 solid apps and this would kill safari and windows mobile.. period no room for discussion.. The simplicity of the Iphone plus the customization and freedom of windows equals android.

One simple touch is there is no mms program, but obviously if you try to add a picture to a sms it is now a mms. They are totally different on the carrier level but to the end user they are almost the same, so in Android its almost the same to send them.

ps I would reccomend JD's rom for the mogul and than add manilla 2d, my mogul looks very similar to the Touch Pro now and runs it easily. check ppcgeeks

Celz

Comments on TechFaith hard at work on Android device, not saying who it's for just yet

Have some techfaith and make it unlocked.

pheer6224
