I dont think it has to do with being a new handset. I think it has to do with rushing a product to market (trying to beat the competition) and also the beast called 3G. Case in point, Apples 3G iPhone. Its a mess! I dont the phone itself is a mess; its basically Gen1 + a 3G antenna. What could be so hard? Well...... the 3G antenna part.
