Let the hive mind of Engadget get that for you.
"I've found myself using my PC for a lot of conversations lately, and I'm also considering recording a podcast to share with anyone who will listen. There are tons of USB headset / microphones out there, and I'm hoping someone has some solid recommendations based on experience. I'll consider both headsets and standalone mics, by the way, but I'd like to keep the bill under $100 if possible. Help!"
Wow- I can't believe I got a comment in before the Apple guys.
Listen- nobody is going to force you to give up your iPhone. The Android platform will in no way "kill" the iPhone platform. I think that the Android OS "may" claim more total market share in the distant future- but, why should Apple fans care?
I don't think you should care one bit.
Apple products are like Audis. They're well designed, well executed, and expensive. If you look at the specs, you can get much better vehicles for less money. But, Audi customers are buying the package. They're not buying the stats. They're willing to pay more to get the Audi experience. Apple customers are the same way, they want the Apple experience.
So- fear not, flame not. G1 and iPhone can exist in Harmony. Both will make money, and both will make their consumers happy.
Okay, but WHY is it so amazing??? Nobody is saying just why...
