Sony Ericsson's W760a 3G Walkman now available on AT&T
It's been a long time coming (isn't it always with Sony Ericsson and AT&T?), but the January-announced W760 Walkman slider is finally hitting the US on contract. Announced today, the shakeable W760a will be available in AT&T locations, bringing with it 3G support, a 3.2-megapixel camera, AT&T Navigator and "full HTML web browsing." In case you haven't seen already, it'll be available in red, black and silver motifs, with the latter hue being exclusive to RadioShack for a limited time. Check it as early as today for $129.99 (with a 2-year agreement) after mail-in rebate.

after playing with the phone, definitley the best SE phones that has come to AT&T. the black model with the yellow trim is ultra sexy. camera is sharp and functions are nice. reminds me of the S710 of old, but with a slider style.
I ordered mine yesterday and it will be here today =D
Iv been waiting for this phone for a while, since the w580 turned out to be crap (build quality killed it)
Does this means i can finally give up on my w810? i've been waiting for a good replacement, something relatively better but the w580i just had a better screen everything else sucked in comparison. i was also contemplating the k850 but AT&T KILLED IT before it came out.
anyone knows if the camera is auto-focus?
Camera does not have auto ocus that I know of after playing with it for the past day. My only complaint so far is that SE changed all the face buttons. Adding the call and hang up keys and taking out the dedicated back button totally throws you off if you have been using a SE phone for a long time (Iv only had 1 non SE phone in my life, so I was pretty accustom to the original design)
It feels MUCH more solid than the w580 which this basically replaces. Freaking AT&T has you pretty much pay for any of the cool services available. Such as streaming videos, tv and a few other things. One feature that I did not know of till I got the phone was the ability to do video calling. Sadly I dont have anyone to do this with so the feature is useless right now lol. Though I dont get why you cant swich cameras to the one on the face if you want too. Seems like a simple task to me...
here is a pretty good review of the phone.

Anyone buying this phone, give your top row of keys a good test on the one they hand you. We've got a bunch here at a T-mobile shop in Germany with bum keys on the top. By "bum" I mean as they don't provide the same feedback as the rest and are prone to double entries. It's been about 1 out of 10 to suffer this. Just FYI.
