The video recording issue is weird, I'll give you that one.

No headphone jack is annoying, but a dongle isn't that big of a deal. Not a deal breaker as it just becomes part of your headphone's cord.

The battery life isn't awesome, but it's not horrible. I charge my phone once a day...so it won't be an issue. I want to think most people can handle charging their phone daily as well.
