Touch Diamond release on Alltel looks imminent

It hasn't been officially put up for sale just yet, but a handful of lucky Alltel types have already managed to land branded Touch Diamonds as evidenced by a full-on unboxing that has recently surfaced on HoFo. For all practical purposes, it looks identical to Sprint's version, albeit with a different branded TouchFLO skin that could be perceived as less annoying if you hate that splash of Sprint yellow or more annoying if you prefer the dark look. At any rate, can't be long now, guys.

first the touch pro is not relesed for sprint yet and also i had the 200$ saving only up to the end of the month if i didnt upgrade i had to keep my old treo and 2 more years of contract

I have to agree with Phan.
The Touch Pro is available from Sprint.
I was playing with one in BestBuy today 10/25.
BestBuy is charging $299.99 for it with 2yr. contract I had a hard time not buying it becauseit is so beautiful.
Waiting to see what Sprint's Android phone will look like before i get the Touch Pro

The TouchFlo3D interface for Sprint does have yellow, but it's not like it's spread out all through the interface like it's a theme. There's as much yellow as there are other colors in the icons. I'm actually relieved that they went with a more colorful interface (well, more colorful than any other modded TF3D interface by a carrier). AT&T has white and blue, and I'm sure that can get annoying if you're not a fan of either colors. Other than the unlocked version of the Diamond/Pro, Sprint's TF3D seems to have the most universal appeal.

Don't worry. The phone launches on 10/30, and the TOUCH PRO is coming shortly after. They're not in stock just yet, but the Diamond has already delivered to stores for next week's launch.

No, it isn't locked in any way so you can take it to VZW if you choose. However, you'd be stuck paying non-contract price of $x.xx Sorry, I can't tell ya that, but assume it to be less than $500.
