C2C coats windows of "quiet" train cabins to block cellphone rings
For UK citizens willing to have their privacy infringed upon in the name of peace and quiet, C2C is the train company for you. The outfit has introduced a special "quiet" carriage in its trains in order to nix conversations and unexpected cellphone noises for those who would prefer. The cabin in question sports a special coating on the windows that allows light in but rejects WiFi and cellular signals. In order to keep the lawyers at bay, folks who sit in this jammed-up area are asked to agree to those terms beforehand, and just in case you sign while inebriated, there are a number of signs and announcements (um, defeating the purpose much?) informing them that no calls will be allowed. Happy trails!

How is passive signal attentuation a reduction in privacy, exactly?
Nice 'O' face.
So how does this fantastic technology silence babies and people just talking loudly to one another?
Oh, yeah, I forgot: mobile phones are particularly evil because the only mobile phone calls you notice are the ones where some idiot is talking particularly loudly, therefore all mobile phone calls are ones where some idiot is talking particularly loudly.
*sigh*
That chick looks scared...and he looks like he's about to jizz all over her. Maybe this is not such a good idea!
They're Asian so what you just described could very well be the case.
hmmm...so basically its their lack of anything else to do, i.e. phone calls, text messaging, browsing the web, that makes them film crazy ass pornos? well, we can expect to see more "train rides" films from there then huh?
