Motorola's production AURA gets delicate hands-on treatment
Yeah, you've seen the pre-production units, but that whole "Your Name - S/N xxxx" kind of tarnished the whole experience a bit. After all, when you're looking at images of a $2,000 phone, you expect flawlessness. Boy Genius himself has managed to procure a real deal production AURA, and rather than just sitting around gawking at the gorgeous circular LCD for hours on end, he had the heart to snap a few photos so we could all live a little vicariously. Hit the read link to have a look at what you're probably definitely missing out on.

my touch diamond fuckin' killz this POS!
comments like that piss me off.
thats like saying a lamborghini would beat a hyundai in a drag race. no shit. they are on different levels.
this is a dumb phone, touch diamond is a WM professional device.
i hope you fall down a flight of stairs today for such a stupid comment.
jerk
Motorola. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
Do they have bluetooth yet?
Actually Motorola has been the largest manufacturer of Bluetooth accessories. They also pioneered the same technology in the 80's, but naturally dumped it before doing anything worthwile with it.
And why is it $2,000? Is it the last phone ever from the company that gave us the Razr and the Rokr?
Goodbye Moto
id punch a baby for one of these.
I'd pay 200 for one, but that's the most I'd spend on any phone. I so want.
Yeah, that'll, like, get you a piece of the keypad and one of the Motorola M logos.
When it was first announced, I hated. Now, if it were reasonably priced, I'd give it a second glance. I'm sure they could make a similar looking device at a lower price point *hint hint, Moto, hint hint*.
I used to work for Cingular 6 years ago. Motorola tried this concept with the Motorola V70, phone didn't do that well. Now they re-designed it and bump up the price. Sorry a no-go.
the Aura is basically an up-scale V70...
