The 'new digital TV thing' was actually adopted by the FCC in the mid-1990's (1995/6). Its only new to you. :) And in the USA, its called ATSC, and it would be nice if Samsung had the guts to put this phone out with an ATSC tuner. That way we could ignore the SOB cost of streaming video and paying the carrier for data bandwidth consumption.
