I called Verizon customer service last night and asked the guy what is the actual release date for the storm, he looked it up in his computer and he told me the Nov. 16th.
You were lied to, no one outside of execs or developers have been notified when the Storm is being released or how much it is going to cost. We are not expecting to be given the information until the phone is officially released. THis is not per usual as we noramlly have this information 1-2 weeks in advance. This however seems to be kept particularly under wraps (which is quite frustrating because its becoming a call driver and generally pissing me off, even as tech spprt.)
“Microsoft's not promising the world with Windows Mobile 6.5, nor are they delivering it -- it's very much a stopgap, complete with duct tape, bubble gum, and Bondo.”
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
