I don't know about RC29/30 but in the UK, I got upgraded to TC5-RC8 (from RC7) and I have noticed two new features:
1. A long press of the Home button now acts as a task switcher - like Alt+Tab on Windows. It is possible that this was always there as a feature and I just missed it, but I doubt it because someone thought it necessary to develop a task switcher app, which I had installed and found very useful until now. The native Android one works better and I don't have to use the camera button like I did with that3rd party app.
2. This one is a definitely a new feature but less interesting. When you connect by USB to a computer, you now get a sound notification and a little usb icon also appears in the top left corner of the screen.
“The HD2 is a magnificent monster. It is a hulking, intimidating, massive slab of a gadget. If you think the device looks big in photos, it's nothing compared to how it seems up close.”
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
