Ok let's waste some more time. I must answer Jason and JohnIII just because I can't stand comments by people who just don't know what they are talking about.
@Jason. these phones might be unreleased in the place where you live (the US I bet) but in Europe have been around since last summer or the beginning of the autumn at least (I got my Omnia in the beginning of november). MS Voice command is a bloated program that does'nt work well with the Omnia , that's why almost all Omnia users , including myself, install Cyberon Speed Dial instead. But no matter which voice activation prog. you install in the Omnia you still will not be able to start a call from your Bluetooth headset. First you must tap a button and give the voice order to the phone's microphone, only after that the BT headset will pick up.
@JohnIII : What the hell are you talkin about? All the forum and sites dedicated to the Samsung Omnia are alive with people trying to find a solution to the Omnia's total lack of voice activation and comparing how well other progs for win mobile can be used instead. If you have seen an Omnia with voice control please tell me what you have been smoking and afterwareds head directly to one of the Omnia's dedicated forums where you will be hailed as the hero who found a fix to the only major bug of a nearly perfect phone.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
