Omg I'm glad somebody finally took the initiatave to prove it, I think the only real difference in hardware limitations between the g1 and the iPhone now is the 3.5mm which really isn't even a limitation now, but either way, I absolutely love the g1 to death, and that's saying something seeing as I'm typing this on my 2g touch =)
