Meizu M8 unboxed before December 8th launch
Can you believe it? After two years and any number of missed targets, Meizu's M8 cellphone is bound and determined to meet its November 30th 8 December launch date. As proof, they've shipped a first unit to China's PConline for review. Hmm, white earbuds, charger, and USB cable... imagine that.

why does this matter, when you can get a real iphone for 199.00 why would you buy a wanna be that wont work the same way, or do the same thing, its like wanting the blackberry mail experience but buying a moto Q, doesn't make sense when the originals are available at good prices

Put down the spam and take a deep breath. If you don't like it, don't buy it. I will admit I'm a bit annoyed by Meizu in general though with the dragging out of the M8. I'm sure it will suck but I'm up for anyone to give it a shot. Free market eventually by trial and error produces great products.
While your point may be valid, I couldn't quite make it out amidst the sea of spam included with your post.
199 with a contract, not without buddy. This phone isnt going to come with a contract being the reason why its not 199!
The packaging reminds me of my first time unboxing the Touch HD.
Yeah yeah...rub it in.
Some of us are stuck in the U.S. -- have some sympathy! :-)
My Touch Pro is jealous of your HD! why must we suffer? I would really like to get my hands on the M8 in the hopes that it's as well put together as the iPhone.
Well, it's been a long, strange trip from the first photoshopped renderings to the actual unboxing. I'm happy with my Touch Diamond for now, but out of curiosity - does anybody know if the specs on the M8/MiniOne have changed?
Did they end up adding in 3G, or is it still just Edge/WiFi? Not that we have 3G yet in Thailand (another never-ending soap-opera *sigh*), but supposedly next spring we will.
Given WinMo's slide downwards in market share, maybe Meizu should have based this thing on Android (and used a better touch-screen, from the looks of the video). If it shows up in Bangkok, maybe I'll buy one and do a full review ;-)
