Keepin' it real fake, part CLXXI: iFone 3G is more than phonetically inaccurate
Not even 24 hours after discovering the completely befuddling iFone x1 comes this, something entirely more recognizable, yet just as wrong. The iFone 3G is -- so far as we can tell -- the first mass produced KIRF of the iPhone 3G, and if history has anything to prove, it'll be just the first in a long, long linage. The best part? The whole "3G" thing in the model name is not representative of actual data band support, so the best you'll do on this heap of festering rubbish is EDGE. At the $5 to $10 range, we could definitely see picking one up for kicks and giggles, but at $178? Psssh... no thanks, poser.

OMG! It's bizzaro iPhone.
Where's Superphone when you need it?
It is "poseur."
i love how it says the 3g denotes the model numbes not 3g network capability... and you gotta love this one, manufacturer claims a fast 204 mhz processor.. lol so where is the 1g or 3a if thats model number and what do you mean the processor is claimed do u wanna verify that, thanks... lmao
would this work on the att network?
So lemme get this straight...when new phones come to market, if they don't have all of the bells and whistles that the iPhone does, it's considered an inferior phone not worth being bothered over. But when a KIRF "iFone" comes to be, it too is scoffed at BECUASE it's trying to be like the iPhone...???
I have more or less one of these phones... I have the older P168... or rather, I picked it up for my mom. She wanted the pizazz of the iPhone, only easy to use, for a lot cheaper, so I picked that up for her. It is a very robust phone, so I don't know what's with all the neg press. The only issue is that it's like a Nokia phone from 2002 in terms of features, just prettier. But it does what she needs it to, therefore, no complaints at all.
