Matte HTC Touch Pro battery cover tones down vivaciousness of HTC Fuze
The Fuze -- which is none other than AT&T's version of the HTC Touch Pro -- has a rather distinct glossy battery cover. Evidently that's not sitting too well with some owners, who'd much prefer the classy matte version that ships on the carrier-free GSM HTC Touch Pro (which is commonly sold in Europe). If you're one of "those people," you'll be elated to know that the cover from the latter slides on the Fuze just fine, but you'll have to lay down upwards of $30 for the change in scenery. Suddenly, glossy doesn't seem so bad, eh?

Spend fifteen and do it your self go to Micheals arts n crafts store and purchase matte black paint that can be sprayed on plastic.......there you go.
Exactly!
Thank goodness. They glossy was exactly what kept me from buying this phone.
I am sure another solution will come up too. But it is for sure a fingerprint magnet!
I have the european Touch pro, and what i really really want is a flat back. the artisticangles don't really help thing thing sit flat if you're trying to rest it on a surface for one reason or another while the keyboard is open. But yes, it too should be flat black, that aspect works quite well.
Hmm. . . I definitely love my glossy black. Makes the phone unique.
what I want is a battery cover that will contain my 2500 mah battery; you should see the ill-fitting joke that came with it!
This is just the normal Touch Pro back... and illegible is right, the phone does not sit flat with this back either.
