If you're a Verizon loyalist pining after the likes of the
LG Lotus and the
Samsung Cleo, great news: we think your savior is on its way. We're hearing rumors that the u440 Cleo will launch as the "Strut" on Big Red's airwaves before too long, a move that was probably necessitated (or at least expedited) by Sprint's recent launch of the Lotus. We still think this form factor looks a wee bit odd -- especially when closed -- but if there are two things Americans like, it's flips and QWERTY keyboards, so the trend was probably overdue anyway.

Rhymes with "Butt."
yea... as in butt ugly, that is certainly a FAT clamshell
Here is to hoping they don't shoehorn their horrible VZW wireless interface on it.
hahaha. you're gonna be hoping for a long ass time.
Why do people even bother posting this?
Every dumbphone released for Verizon includes their UI.
UGLY
Whichever phone designer who decided that clamshell QWERTY phones would be the new "in" needs to be shot.
They should ask LG for a version of the Lotus. More features and looks a hell of a lot better.
I have a Lotus, and it's quite nice - so far my favorite dumbphone out of all the dumbphones I've owned. This however...is really ugly.
Actually I was thinking it rhymes with something else that starts with "S" and ends in "ut," but butt works too.
how in hell is there an all red version of this cell?? where did it come from ??
and why didn't samsung release it this way, i like this color so much better. i got the blue cleo and it's very nice cell to have.
