I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. I've been running the custom ROM and GPS fix for several days now. It works like a charm. Props to |||bored||| for getting it out.
Verizon: quit crippling the $500 hardware we pay for. Note: this fix allows you to run free apps like Google Maps and Windows Live maps. It does NOT rip off from any paid VZW nav services.
Now -- let's get that FM radio unlocked!
