HTC expects to move over one million G1 handsets in 2008, party hard in 2009
Given just how awesome HTC's most previous quarterly results were, we don't blame it for being a tad optimistic about overall G1 sales. CEO Peter Chou was quoted as saying that the G1 should sell just over a million units this year, with the second Android-powered handset coming in Q1 2009 at the "earliest." Interestingly, the report also stated that HTC was hard at work on its third Google-infused mobile, which isn't at all mind-blowing considering that we're talking about a phone company that has to make new phones in order to stay afloat.

I love the g1, but in this old picture it looks rediculously looooong. So not how it is in real life. The brown one looks like its as big as the kids arm.
cant wait see how the new phones look when they drop
THIRD? Which one's the second one?? Is that an unofficial reference to the G2??
But it's so damned UGLY. I'm holding out for the Dev Phone 2... and hoping it's a lot more like the Touch Pro (ie: less ugly, without big lumpy bit on the bottom), but with 100% more Android... and a capacitive screen.
Yuss!!!
Congratulations to Android and the G1....G2....G3.... And All Future Android Phones!!!

All things just Keep getting Better
This mobile is the bomb!! I have messed around with the iphone to the MAX and G1 still comes out as a winner in my opinion!! Bravo Andriod,
The mobile might be a little bulky compared to the touch pro, but when you combine keypoard, trackball together you reply to SMS and email with lighting speed and more comfortable then the touch pro!!
Can't wait to see the other models :)
This is a wonderful blog!
