Bell reloading its Storm gun for Boxing Day

If you're a Bell customer left out in the cold without the Storm you'd been desperately hoping for, odds are you're not alone -- to call quantities "limited" would be a gross understatement -- but we've got a bit of bright news to close out the year. We've been told that Bell is getting ready to release a bunch of Storm stock to kick off Boxing Day festivities with a bang, and more units will continue to filter in throughout the week. Heads up, though: they're still only at "select" locations and we suspect there won't be enough for everyone that wants one, so we wouldn't get all lackadaisical about running down to the store, you know?

A phone without WIFI in this age should be called Stoneage instead of Storm. :) Trust me Bell, no one is going to box for this phone!

I have the storm Hooray and im very happy with it. Wifi would be nice but I live in a 3g area and its fast enough for me. I bet they sell out this limited inventory fast. not everyone cares about wifi, infact the vast majority of people do not.

I bought the Storm the day they had the pre-release with Bell. The phone is awesome, aside from a few glitches here and there which I'm sure a manufacturer like RIM will not leave un-resolved in near future updates. As far as WIFI goes, I agree it seems old school for a phone not to have it. I've had an iPod Touch for almost a year now and the WIFI is just annoying when you don't have a hot spot. 3G serves me well. I probably wouldn't even use WIFI if I had it on this phone.

And in case anyone is desperately trying to figure out which locations have the Storm available, try Yorkdale Mall. I got mine from there 2 weeks ago. They were the only place in Canada at that time. I'm sure you'll have luck there for sure!

People WILL, and ARE boxing for the phone.
