It's not completely customizable but there are tons of customization the latest versions can do. One in particular is that you can pick a notification sound when you receive a text from a particular person, something WinMo lacks out of the box. In addition, you can find an AIM/Yahoo/MSN client that matches what is on the sidekicks. It's the only software that will keep you signed on and receiving IM's if you lose service, then send them to you once you get your service back. It has its downs, but a whole lot of ups. Unfortunately, I never got one because I don't like T-Mo, I like WinMo and touchscreens.

WixosTrix

Comments on PCD says new AT&T Quickfire, T-Mobile Sidekicks coming this year

rofl awesome pic

Jeremy K.

Comments on PCD says new AT&T Quickfire, T-Mobile Sidekicks coming this year

Microsoft bought Danger...so it may be a sidekick running a dumb-down version of WinMo 6.x plus a touchscreen and Zune...

Jesus

Comments on PCD says new AT&T Quickfire, T-Mobile Sidekicks coming this year

Maybe PCD means a firmware update to the quickfire?
