OK, HTC's Touch Pro, branded as the
MDA Vario IV is apparently finally starting to ship out to some lucky
T-Mobile customers in the UK. Try as we might, we're not finding it anywhere on the site, but it does live -- and live large at that -- according to folks over at XDA-Developers.com. We won't bore you with the specs, so get on the horn and hunt yours down, and if you do get hold of one, please drop us a line with your experiences and pricing info. Read link has the T-Mobile MDA Vario IV's manual for your enjoyment.
I'm so jealous of the T-Mo UK customers :( they get the new official MDA and the retooled HTC Touch Viva
Agreed. If this phone released in the US on T-Mobile, we'd have to pay $200... Why can't we have $10 smartphones like the UK and EU.
Well, Hong Kong CSL (aka 123 aka 1010) also has it - for $0 (or the Diamond, if you want that).
Not sure about the terms of the agreement, usually the plan they sell you is a bit more expensive than if you brought your own phone. But then again, $6000HKD (~$750) off its quite something.
I'm hoping T-Mobile USA doesn't get the touch pro now, and skips straight to the touch pro HD. ;)
Some one told me any time after Thursday.
Too little too late T-Mobile!
The Touch Pro has been out for months now and they're only just releasing their rebrand. I gave up waiting in december, got myself a Touch HD sibbed with a T-Mo contract from eXpansys, best decision I ever made (proper HTC device so regular updates n fixes, plus brilliant HSDPA coverage).
Seriously though? It takes this long to recolour the UI, mess around with and bloat the ROM?
dat is one sexy looking TF3D
aaaaaahhhhhh im going crazy here can someone please tell me if this phoe will be coming to the US????
