Have 4 phones on the Family Plan, was able to add My-Faves to all 4 lines, but had to agree to a new 2 year agreement on all 4 phones (not a problem as we are quite happy and intend to stay with T-Mobile). Was told that cost of our original family plan would remain the same (no increase in price for adding My-Faves), and was also told that it would not effect any phone upgrades (should we decide to do that - I plan on my BB 8320 with an 8900 when they become available).

KWB

Comments on T-Mobile customers having some luck getting myFaves for free

Worked for me, no groveling required. Additionally, if there is a renewal anyway, I think that you should have just changed to a MyFaves plan and stopped being cheap. Better yet, why not just have Alltel-Verizon and get a Circle plan?

Roger Alford

Comments on T-Mobile customers having some luck getting myFaves for free

Same here...no problem.
The steps I took were:
611
At the voice prompt I said "Cancel". So it STRICTLY says now that no free MyFaves promotion should be given out without a contract extension.
