ABC / ESPN content lands on Verizon's V CAST
Statistics don't lie, but they aren't stopping Verizon Wireless from inking a new deal with Disney / ABC Television Group and ESPN in order to bring more watchable content to its V CAST service. Starting today, a so-called "comprehensive portfolio of news, entertainment and sports video programming, including full-length episodes of shows from ABC Entertainment, ABC News and Disney Channel, as well as content from ESPN, will be available to Verizon Wireless V CAST Video and Mobile Web customers." The agreement covers mobile distribution of on-demand, full-length episodes to V CAST Video, and if you're looking for a taste of what you can expect, try Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Lost and The Suite Life on Deck. So, interested in V CAST Video now? No? Okay.

I would've kept my VCast Mobile TV Select plan if it was actually "live tv" with actual live tv programming but I removed it after the first month free promotion
This is regarding VZW's VCast Video service, not VCast Mobile TV. Their use of a Voyager in the pic is a little misleading in that regard I agree.
Again, for everyone's clarification: this is in regards to VCast Video, which is available on like 90% of VZW's non smartphones and able to be viewed anywhere in VZW's 3G network.
There's nothing like watching(squinting) sports on an insanely small screen.
Is this VCAST streaming or VCAST TV? I'm guessing TV (because of the Voyager) but I want to be sure.
this is something that never really appealed to me honestly. i have Verizon and had a VCast phone at one point, but i just dont wanna watch TV on a screen that small. i hear of people putting movies and crap on their phones but i would rather lug around my Laptop.
Why bother with V-Cast when SprintTV actually gives you live mobile feeds of ESPN, MSNBC and CNN? V-Cast is okay, but there's far better out there in the world of mobile Internet -- and for less money.
