I bought the Pantech Duo, which if you're reading this you know it's the upscale version of the Ocean. I had to exchange/return the Duo 3 times because of the following:
1st phone - infamous faulty screen seal made it look like a lint and dust trap, delay in orientation from portrait to landscape, vise versa 2nd phone - the screen/slide would not stay locked in position, screen looked like a lint and dust trap 3rd phone - just stopped sending/receiving calls/texts, screen/slide was loose, screen looked like a lint a dust trap
FYI, I learned through this process that At&t has a not commonly disclosed policy that they will only replace a certain phone 3 times, then you have to go with something else. Actually, that's very reasonable because how often do you need to exchange a product?? However, a product SHOULD work, should it not??
So, you've been warned!! Purchase at your own risk!!
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
Ok, ok, time for some intervention!
