Android has got to be released on more carriers and on more phones soon if it is going to be a viable smart phone platform. It is ridiculous that there still is only one Android phone in the US and its on T-Mobile (nothing against T-Mobile, I would probably be using them if it worked everywhere I needed it to). There's getting to be less and less breathing room for newcomers and at this point Android is still a newcomer.
T-Mobile may be the only US carrier, but globally Android is still continuing to spread on new devices, new manufactures, other than T-Mobile internationally, other countries will spread Android via their carriers, but in the US only T-Mobile.
I think you're right, but it's a little humorous that we can't say "In order for OS X to be a viable smart phone platform it has to be released on more carriers and handsets..."
“The experience was a quick and painful reminder that no matter how pretty the window dressing is here, HTC has staged its fashion show in a building that should be scheduled for demolition.
